On 1st July, 2009 Anoushka Divar (27)*, a teacher for Indian literature from New Dehli and Pradthya Shankar (24)*, engeenering student from Bangalore come togehter on the campus of Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute to assist the filmmaker Resmi Satesh by giving faces for her short film story „Touch“.

A day after, the Times India reports: „High Court in New Delhi delivered a historic judgement to amend a 149-year-old colonial-era law, Section 377 of the IPC, and decriminalise private consensual sex between adults of the same sex. It is a major milestone in the country’s social evolution. India becomes the 127th country to take the guilt out of homosexuality.“
