In July 2021 the prime minister of Mecklemburg-Vorpommern, Manuela Schwesig announce to propose for the Unesco World Heritage list the former NS-Regime Peenemünde Army Research Center, a V2 rocket building spot on the island Usedom in north-east Germany.
